Now on Android, still on your server

Noodle Gallery for Android is live on Google Play. Sign in once with your Gallery server URL and account, and the whole library is on the device: timeline, search, map, spaces, settings. Background camera backup sends new photos and videos to your server as you take them. There is no Noodle-operated middle layer and no cloud account to opt out of.

The phone is the window. Your server is still home.

Search without the cloud

The CLIP smart search from the web library is one tap away. Type a query in plain language, the app sends it to your server, and your server runs CLIP. Indexing, embeddings and ranking all happen on hardware you control, so Google never sees the query and neither does any Noodle inference service.

Shared Spaces on Android

A Shared Space is one timeline that every member adds to from their own library. Open a space on Android and you get its chronological timeline, the list of people it is shared with, and pull to refresh when new photos land.

The map runs on your server

Every photo with GPS metadata becomes a marker, clustered as you zoom out. Tiles come from your Gallery server, place names come from its reverse-geocoding, and marker thumbnails stream from your library. Nothing about where your photos were taken touches a third-party API.
