Gallery search now accepts structured filter tokens alongside normal search text. Type searches such as beach person:anna tag:travel country:Germany, pick live suggestions for people, tags, countries, and cities, then commit once to update Photos or the current Space with shareable URL filters.

The command palette is now the search bar. Open it from anywhere, type a query, and the Top result routes the search to the page you are already on when that page has its own searchable timeline. Photos and Spaces keep their sort controls next to the trigger, while the palette still searches every library entity, command, and settings page in parallel.

Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to open a single input that searches your entire library in parallel — photos, people, places, tags — and fuzzy-matches every admin and settings page. Prefix shortcuts (@, #, /, >) scope to one kind of thing; a Commands section fires verbs like upload, create album, and admin-only job-queue controls without leaving the page. On album and space pages the palette adds context-aware verbs — rename, share, leave, delete, add member — with a two-step inline confirm that arms destructive commands before firing. Recents bring you back where you were.

Prefix scoping turns the global search palette into a lightweight faceted browser. Type @ to find a person by name, # to jump to a tag, / to navigate to an album or shared space, or > to fire a command or navigate to any settings page. Typing just the prefix without a query opens a suggestion list sorted by recent activity. The palette resets to the full multi-section view the moment you backspace out the prefix.

Open Ctrl+K on an album page and the Commands section adds Rename, Share, Download, Leave, or Delete — only the verbs you're allowed to perform on that specific album. On a space page it becomes Manage members, Add member, Add all my photos, Leave space, or Delete space. Every verb is gated by the same permissions the rest of the UI uses. Destructive actions arm on the first Enter (the row turns red) and fire on the second, with a 3-second auto-cancel and an Esc bail-out at any point.

Sort CLIP search results by Relevance, Newest, or Oldest on both the main timeline and Shared Spaces, with date-grouped results and infinite scroll. A new admin-level relevance threshold excludes weak CLIP matches so combined text + filter searches stop returning noise.
